The recently announced next Head Coach of the All Blacks, Scott “Razor” Robertson, had been looking at better utilising the outdoor spaces that he had, at his beautiful Christchurch home and he engaged his local Bask® Outdoor Living dealer MAK Homes Ltd to help him come up with a solution. He wanted a space that he could use all year round that was effectively an extension of the house and provide another living area for his family.
The solution was this beautifully finished bespoke area that in his words can be “enjoyed effectively as a winter and summer option and is multi-use.” The flexibility provided with the adjustable freestanding louvre roof able to control the sunlight and inclement weather, with Drop Down screens and sliding Glaslide doors, means that Razor and his young family are outside more than ever and they can relax or work here year-round. There is no fighting over the living room TV anymore and Razor is enjoying being able to work or relax in his new space even grabbing some shut-eye away from the training ground.
He is finding his family are now outside more than ever and they can relax or work here year-round “you feel like you are inside but you are separated.” Razor comments that “Bask were awesome with getting the job done, and their check-up afterwards was world-class.” Who knows he may even be able to practice his famous break-dancing skills out here as well as the day to day coaching of a top-flight international rugby team.
